Skin changes – The skin does not offer a lot of changes, it is basically just a recoloring of Rammus base skin, with no new effects, animations or sounds.

Skin bio & introduction: – Rammus is taking a jab at the Mario universe, he is posing as the villain king Bowser himself. His shell is spikey and he is a green ball of destruction ready to roll and smash his enemies. The Rammus skin is obviously also one of the first skins ever released for league of legends.

How to get this skin? – The rare Rammus skin was awarded to players who participated in Closed Beta of League of legends. The closed beta took place during LoL’s pre-release phase and the beta ended at October 21st in 2009. This was the only way to obtain this skin, which obviously is no longer possible. This makes the Rammus skin one of the rarest skins for League of legends, you literally had to play during the beta to have this on your account.

How rare is it? -Roughly 250k players signed up to play the Beta, which means that’s how many skins there is in existence. Bear in mind, at the current age of LoL, 250k players are less than 1% of all the player base and the vast majority of them are no longer playing. So if you happen to see this skin in-game you are really fortunate because he surely is a rare gem!
