Skin changes – Katarina in the Death Sworn theme.. Specific in-game changes:

• Model: New models and textures – Katarina is enrobed in unearthly garb, and hold accompanying blades!.
• New particles: New VFX – Teal and pink spectral particles!.
• New animations: New animations – New recall animation, and new hair animations!.
• New sounds: New SFX – Spooky and spectral SFX, as well as VO processing!.

Skin bio & introduction: – To fully swear oneself to Death’s service, a mortal must be prepared to sacrifice the living. A skilled assassin in life, Katarina pledged her sinister blades willingly, and was granted spectral abilities allowing her to pass in and out of the underworld with ease.

How to get this skin? – The skin is not available for purchase and has been placed in the Legacy Vault (they can still be mystery gifted, and only appear in a champion’s information tab if owned). The vault is usually opened for limited runs and this skin can then be purchased in the Riot Store. In my experience it can be rather long between each opening of the Legacy Vault, hang tight!

Worth buying? – Death Sworn Katarina is a Legacy vault skin — rarely available and not in the regular store. It includes custom particles, new animations, new sounds. You can preview any skin for free on the PBE server before buying. Learn how to access the PBE here.
