Skin changes – Wukong as a supernatural warrior.. Specific in-game changes:

• Model: New model for Wukong and his staff plus new glow for the ends of the staff..
• New particles: New particles for his abilities..
• New animations: New recall animation..
• New sounds: New sounds for his abilities and recall plus processed voice-over..

Skin bio & introduction: – Once a pupil of the martial arts, Wukong trained under his masters’ strict traditions and doctrines. In him, Death saw limitless potential, and chose to claim the disregarded student for the underworld instead. Now, Wukong fights alongside the undying hordes, no longer bound by the rules of the living.

History – Harrowing event – Holiday skins were released for a specific holiday in Runeterra, usually coinciding with a similar real-world holiday. Some of these skins were formerly Limited skins, but have since been made Legacy, meaning they may return to the store again in the future.

How to get this skin? – The skin is not available for purchase and has been placed in the Legacy Vault (they can still be mystery gifted, and only appear in a champion’s information tab if owned). The vault is usually opened for limited runs and this skin can then be purchased in the Riot Store. In my experience it can be rather long between each opening of the Legacy Vault, hang tight!

Worth buying? – Underworld Wukong is a Legacy vault skin — rarely available and not in the regular store. It includes custom particles, new animations, new sounds. You can preview any skin for free on the PBE server before buying. Learn how to access the PBE here.
